September is the start of a new school year for both kids and parents. We invest in new outfits (because it seems they outgrew everything over the summer), new shoes, and fresh school supplies. As we send them off, don’t forget to also invest in your children’s character so they will grow in integrity, honesty, and virtue. Before they head off to school in the morning, impart a blessing or encouragement to fuel them through the day. Eventually, shirts become too small, shoes get worn out, and the pen ink will dry, but nurturing your children’s values to mirror Christ’s is an investment that will grow!
