How did having children change your marriage relationship?\u00c2\u00a0 Were children planned?\u00c2\u00a0 If so, how did you decide when to have children?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We did plan to have three or four children but the timing was not always ours.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It is important for you as a couple to discuss how many children you want and when; however, be ready to adjust to what actually happens.\u00c2\u00a0 Realize that once they arrive, they are here forever.\u00c2\u00a0 Your responsibilities will change through the years according to their needs, but your care will continue.\u00c2\u00a0 I am glad that we had three years to get to know each other and go through some of our adjustments before Michelle was born.\u00c2\u00a0 Having three daughters in less than 5 years was a challenge personally and as a couple.\u00c2\u00a0 Balancing our individual needs, our children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s needs, and keeping our marriage as a priority had to become intentional decisions to discuss and live out.\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
